|
課程概述 |
1.本課程使用的教材為《新版實用視聽華語一》 (第一課~第六課)，希望能提高並鞏固學生運用「聽說讀寫」四方面的語言能力，學習生活語言外的常用詞彙與文法，並能得體使用華語與人溝通、討論，期望學生也能透過課程，進一步了解華語及台灣文化。
This course is constructed around the textbook Practical Audio-Visual Chinese I (Lesson 1-6), and is aiming to improve and consolidate students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Besides the four skills, this course would also love to provide a perspective on Taiwanese culture regarding the subject the textbook mentions.
2.本課程授課語言以中文為主，英文為輔。
This course will be conducted mainly in Chinese. English will be used only when referring to basic grammar principles and relevant key points.

課程目標 |
1.建立基本的聽說讀寫能力。
Build up the basic language skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
2.能以中文與他人進行簡易而基本的日常會話。
Understand and use simple Chinese words and phrases to meet basic needs for daily conversation.
3.能讀懂課程範圍內的正體字，並能寫出至少一百字的短文表達個人想法。
Recognize traditional Chinese characters from the textbook and write a short essay of at least 100 words to express opinions. |

課程要求 |
1. 預習與複習。
Previews before and do homework after each class.
2. 勿遲到早退，每次上課都要簽到。遲到20分鐘或提早20分鐘離開視同缺課，無故缺課一次扣出席分數0.5分。
You are expected to attend the class punctually. Students are required to sign the attendances sheet upon arrival of each class. Those who arrive 20 minutes after the beginning of class (or leave 20 minutes earlier) will be considered absent for the whole class. You will lose 0.5 attendance points for each absence except for sick leave.
3. 應準時繳交作業，超過規定時間視同未交。作業應寫在Ａ4紙上繳交。
No longer acceptation after deadline. Assignments should be submitted on A4 paper.
4. 所有作業與考試都必須寫漢字。
Write Chinese characters in homework and test.
5. 考試作弊者零分計算。
No cheating in quizzes or exam.
6. 如果需要請假，請兩天前告知講師。（病假例外）
If students need to take a day off, please tell the instructor two days before. Except for sick leave.
7.病假或事假請給證明，包括在缺席內。Medical or official excuses need to be provided for taking a day off, it will be included you’re absent.
8.課堂中請勿喝酒、抽菸、和吃東西，允許喝飲料。
No alcohol, No smoking and No food in class, allowed drinking.
9. 期中與期末考若無法於指定日期參加應於2週前告知並提早考試，否則零分計算。
If you cannot take the midterm or final exam as scheduled, please inform the teacher before 2 weeks and arrange the test time. You have to take the test before the scheduled time, or you will get ZERO.
10. 上課專心聽講，勿聊天談話。
Listen attentively to the teacher in the class, no chatting in class.
11. 尊重同學的發言權和受教權。
Respect classmates’ right to speak and the right of learning.
超過2次沒來上課，會開始扣分。If you miss more than two classes, your grade will start to be deducted.
超過10次沒來上課，這個學期會沒有成績。If you don’t attendant the class over ten times, you will fail the class. |

出席 Attendance |

(1)每次上課皆應簽到。 Students must sign their name on the attendance sheet.
(2)上課不可無故遲到或早退。遲到或早退超過二十分鐘，視同缺席一小時。缺席一小時扣出席成績0.2分。If you are late for class or leave earlier than scheduled over 20 minutes, the hour would be considered as absent. An hour’s absence costs you 0.2 points.
(3)若因故無法出席，應在上課以前寫E-mail向老師請假，也要在請假系統上請假。 Inform the instructor by email in advance if you are unable to attend the class. You also need to take a leave on line.
(4)事假需提前請假，病假須在三天內附證明。Valid and documented excuse should be provided ahead of time or within one week (for sick leave).
(5)無故缺席扣出席成績0.5分。 Unexcused absence will cost you 0.5 points.
(6)若於學期結束前提早離開，出席成績依照規則2方式計算。If students leave NTU before the term ends, the hours of absence also be calculated as rule 2.
(7)注意：太多遲到早退或缺席也會影響上課表現成績。Note: Too many late arrivals (and excused absences without valid and documented excuses) will also have negative impact on attendance and participation (and overall) grades. |

(1)每次上課皆須攜帶課本、講義。 Bring all the materials you are supposed to use when you come to class.
(2)積極參與課程 active participation in class;
(3)課前充分準備 adequate preparation before class;
(4)盡可能的完成課堂任務的demonstrated effort in completing assigned tasks;
(5) 不在課堂中寫作業或是與進行課程無關的活動，如聊天或睡覺。Students should not write homework or do other things that are not related to the course, such as chatting with classmates or sleeping during class hour. |

平時考 Test |
15% |
(1)每次上課（期中考及期末考除外）都有聽寫小考。上課鐘響就考試，考試時間為10-15分鐘，你需要寫下你聽到的漢字、拼音和聲調。遲到、請假或缺席者不補考。A dictation quiz will be given at the start of every class for about 10-15 minutes (except when taking the mid-term and final exams). You will need to write down characters, tones, and pinyin based on what you hear. No make-up quiz will be provided.
(2)聽寫成績中，最差的三次分數不予計算。The lowest 3 quiz scores will be dropped.
(3)每上完一課會安排一次複習測驗，測驗內容為筆試（含聽力測驗)。考試時間大約1-1.5個小時。因故無法參加考試者，須在一周內補考。 補考成績扣10分。A review test will be scheduled after every lesson, covering written exams (including listening tests). The examination lasts approximately 1-1.5 hours. In case of inability to participate in the exam due to unforeseen circumstances, a makeup exam must be taken within one week. A penalty of 10 points will be deducted from the makeup exam score.
(4)如有作弊行為，當次考試以零分計算。 Any student who is caught cheating will receive a grade of ZERO on the test. |

作業 Homework |
15% |
(1)作業包括生字、學生作業簿以及其他作業，如對話練習、聽力練習。Assignments include vocabulary learning, student workbooks, and other tasks such as dialogue practice and listening exercises.
(2)因缺席而遲交該份作業成績扣5分，且應在下次上課時補交，超過規定時間視同未交，以零分計算。Late submissions due to absence will result in a deduction of 5 points from the assignment score. Make-up submissions should be completed during the next class session. Submissions beyond the specified timeframe will be considered as not submitted and will be graded as zero. Submit your work ahead of time if you may miss the class of those days.
(3)作業請寫在A4紙上。（紙本作業只收A4紙張）
Please write your assignments on A4 paper. (Only A4-sized papers will be accepted for hard-copy assignments）
(4) 每份作業成績都會被計算。未完成的作業（超過一個或更多的部分）、抄襲同學的答案、遲交預期都將零分計算。You will receive grades for each complete homework. Incomplete homework (miss more than one item), late homework or copy of classmates' homework will receive No Grades (for both people) |

期中考 Mid-term exam |

(1) 包括筆試（含聽力測驗）及口試。 The exam consists of listening comprehension, a written test and an oral test.
(2)考試時禁止使用手機及課本。No cell phone or books are allowed during any type of test.
(3) 口試需要記下對話內容。口試時讀稿視同作弊，將不予計分。Oral exam requires memorization of the dialogue content. Reading from the script on the oral exam is considered as cheating and will receive No grades.
(4)期中考將於指定日期舉行，不能補考。若因無法避免的因素不能參加考試，須提前告知老師並擇期補考，否則將以零分計算。The midterm exam will be given only on the assigned days. There will be no make-up exam unless there are absolutely unavoidable circumstances such as serious illness, or a death in the family. If you are unable to attend the exam due to circumstances beyond your control, you must notify the teacher in advance and request an alternative exam time or date. |

口頭演說Oral presentation |

(1)這學期有兩次，時間約2分鐘的個人口頭演說。This semester, there will be 2 individual oral presentations, each lasting approximately 2 minutes.
(2)每次上完一課後，會安排10-15人上台發表。After completing each lesson, 10-15 students will be arranged to present on stage. |
